Our newest addition to the family is "Bandit" or as they had called him in the pound "Bandito". My sister-in-law, Suzette had fostered him for a while since he had kennel cough and we fell in love with this extremely playful little guy. He has to be part black lab and part retriever... first because we can't keep him out of our pool and secondly because he loves to swim across the pool for a tennis ball and will bring it back to us. He came to us partially trained - he knows how to sit and a few other basic commands so it won't take too much for us to get him fully trained. But for how, we're working on getting him acclimated to Gremlin.
Speaking of Gremlin, our friend Dana came over today and gave her a MAJOR haircut. So now when I sweep the hair up in the house, maybe it will stay swept up for longer than 10 minutes!
Our hope is that the two become friends and that Bandit helps Gremlin regain a little of her playfulness.
